Beware the beauty department if you're a black woman. On two separate occasions I received non-friendly service, no help with products, and essentially "shooed" away by the women in the fragrance and makeup department. It baffles me that these ignorant classless individuals don't want their commission. I won't be shopping in this boston store again. I'll take my coins elsewhere, preferably with black consultants who know how to color match a woman of color's skin.
This store is awful! There is never anyone willing to help you, the staff never has any answers, when you approach any of them you are treated like an inconvenience. None of the staff here looks like they like their job and are super rude!!! Go to mayfair mall instead or brookfield. It is a bit of a drive but a million times better service at other boston stores.
Ok, I literally just typed the whole story out and it's so stupid and annoying that I'm going to spare you and sum it up by saying she was desperately incompetent. The people behind me in line thought so, too. Extremely poor customer service!
I needed help in the appliance dept so I asked a sales clerk for help. She was doing nothing but paper work. I asked her to show me where the electric pressure cookers where. She pointed and I couldn't find them. She would not budge from her paper work. I asked again and she pointed at them again. I said I still didn't see them. She said over there and pointed again. She said that they had 2 of them. I only saw 1 and I told her that. Then she said that maybe they only had 1. Frustrated when I walked out I found the second one! I don't know what was so important about her paper work that she couldn't help me!!
Ridiculously bad service in women's wear. Attempted to exchange 2 items of clothing for different sizes. No one at the counter (fine) so I left my purchases and went to look for the correct sizes. Firstly, as I looked through the rack it started to completely collapse. I was able to catch it and flag down the clerk who came over and emptied it while I held it up for her. Next, I return with her to the checkout where she now cannot find the tag from the jeans I brought in to exchange - even though I'd left it on top of the jeans.
The girls at Clinique are always SO nice and willing to go above and beyond. Jen in shoes was also very nice and made Christmas shopping easy!
