On the plus, the visual and audio experience was great.
As the food was served after the movie started, the servers were walking up and down rows confused as to whose food they had. They had to stop and ask as they walked by if the food belonged to each patron, then moved on until they found the right person.
Food is about $15-$20 per person with movie popcorn and soda prices. Good options from salads to burgers to made to order pizza. Service is sometimes slow when it comes to refills of drinks or popcorn. Food comes pretty quickly in about 15-20 minutes depending on your order. Suggested to come 30 minutes before showtime.
When asked for a drink order the waitress bragged about all the local brews they have on tap. After going through 4 beer selections and all were out of stock, we found one she stated they did have. Our food was served about 10 minutes later. After finishing my meal, I still had no drink. I pressed the service button and another server came to me and told me they also did not have that beer either.
Theater seating: Very good, but I think I still prefer the old seats. I am a fairly short person, so I feel they are a little too over sized for me. I have started taking a back cushion with me so that helps some.
Online reservations were made and advised us to show up 30 minutes prior to show time to get the best of the dining and viewing experience. We showed up exactly 30 minutes prior and were quickly ushered to the bar being told the theatre is not ready yet. They did not start allowing us in until 15 minutes prior followed by scrambling to get orders from everyone before the movie began.
I visited the theater where they offer food with your film. For me it was not dark enough in the theater. The eating option was great, but not for me. Great service and friendly. Going forward I will visit a standard theater with hopefully dream lounger seats only and no tray in front of you.
Overall very disorganized.
Location: very good
Food service: Good, but I still prefer to eat out before or after the movie. For one reason, I like to visit with the person I am out with while I am at dinner.
This was just okay. Attaching tables to recliner seats is plain weird. It forces severs to serve you from the front, blocking the view. It's not their fault, it's the format of the thing. I prefer the Big Screen Bistro format at the Majestic in Brookfield. It's much better thought out. That being said the food was good. Service was decent. "It's good, but not my favorite."
Pricing: Glad to hear the special daily rates and senior rates are still honored at this theater.
